World AIDS Day 2021

Join us in recognizing World AIDS Day by getting tested for HIV and getting care.

We are the HIVE program Navigators, and we work with the HIV positive community in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. We can help connect you to resources like housing, food, mental health services, and childcare. Getting help is easier than you think. Check out our website and social media for information on how to connect with us. We are here for you!

National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day FEBRUARY 07, 2021

National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD) is observed annually on February 7 to increase awareness, spark conversations, and highlight the work being done to reduce HIV in Black or African American (hereafter referred to as Black) communities in the United States and show support for people with HIV in these communities.

Get Involved
You can raise awareness of HIV within Black communities and provide information on access to care using CDC’s Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign resources. Even when we are physically apart, we all have a role to play in ending HIV. That’s why the 2021 NBHAAD theme is “We’re in This Together.”

Let’s Stop HIV Together aims to empower communities, partners, and healthcare providers to reduce HIV stigma and promote prevention, testing, and treatment among all people in the United States. With campaign resources, partners and other organizations can play a role in preventing HIV and helping people with HIV stay healthy. The Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign is part of the national Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative.

Get the Word Out
Share these posts and images on social media tagging #NBHAAD and #StopHIVTogether leading up to NBHAAD and on the day of the observance, February 7, 2021.
